Research in Groups

Nurturing Women Researchers

The aim of the IWM Research in Groups programme is to create a strong group of young female researchers across the country.

  • Each research group will have a senior and a junior mentor, with five student participants. The topics and mentors for each group are given below.
  • Applications are invited from female PhD students, postdoctoral fellows, advanced students with a master’s degree and college teachers, from all over India.
  • Preference will be given to students from marginalized backgrounds/remote places and those with fewer opportunities to participate in collaborative research, without compromising the standard of the projects.
  • There will be two in-person meetings per year, each being one week long.
